September Light

Very cool to see the places of the plays when I release a new song on SoundCloud, as the algorithms do their work. “September Light” is a new 3-minute piece I released a couple of days ago, inspired by the sharp but fragile, delicate light in the Northern Hemisphere at the end of September, which is a little bit mysterious and a little bit mournful.

The 25 plays over the past two days take me around the world: 8 plays in Lozanne, France (not Lausanne, Switzerland); 3 plays in Algodonales, Spain; 3 plays in Amsterdam; 3 plays in London; 3 plays in Tulsa, Oklahoma; 1 play in Al Mansurah, Egypt; 1 play in Caracas, Venezuela; 1 in Hochiouji, Japan; 1 in Madrid; 1 in Neuchatel, Switzerland; and 1 in Weagamow Lake, Canada. The multiple plays in the same place are especially nice to see, as I assume that means someone liked it and played it more than once.

Thanks for listening, people in the world. There is a second movement coming.
